Cruising along A.S. Fortuna traffic can be really tolling, and as I was passing along this stretch earlier, I was relieved to have found a parking spot and took the chance to finally swing by Chef’s Table for my first serving of caffeine for the day.

The space is cozy and intimate, with only about 5-8 tables. The lounge music playing in the background fits the feel of the cafe and the ambient light adds up to its cushy tone. The service is quick and great as too. Even the security presonnel assisted me well both in parking and going out.

I ordered a cappucino and a slice of Carrot Pineapple Walnut loaf. The carrot walnut pineapple slice is compact, slightly moist yet crumbly and the pineapple added a bit of fresh sweetness to it. The coffee was alright. A bit too mild and milky, but not bad at all. And appreciate the dash of cinammon, giving the beverage a slight tinge.

Their cake selection looks really tempting, specially the Green Tea Mango Avocado Cake and the Ube Chiffon Cake. Will try them the next time I drop by for sure!
