The best thing about a boodle fight is that it brings people closer together, while sharing good stories and catching up over Filipino comfort food around the table.
During these hard times, Blackbeard’s Seafood Island sees the need to bring the families closer together through food, making it possible for everyone to enjoy boodle fight favorites at the comforts of home, and have a burping good time together!
My family and I had “Anatomy of Mt. Apo Boodle” delivered for dinner today. Each of the 15 items on the set was packed neatly in a container, together with cleaned and sanitized banana leaves, hand gloves, one fresh buko shell and three dried buko shells or bagul.
Assembling the boodle meal was a breeze, as an instruction cheat sheet was enclosed in the kit, with a photo of how it should look like. Process of putting it all together took me less than 12 minutes to do. Easy peasy!
Anatomy of Mt. Apo Boodle consists of sabaw sa buco, law uy, fish, shrimps, toyo, patis, kalamansi at sili, bagoong, salted fish garlic rice, squid, balbacua, chicken inasal, grilled liempo, alimango, kinilaw, and ginisang kangkong.
The dinner felt like a fiesta – fun and full of laughter, as expected with every boodle fight. The bigger the crowd, the better!
Other Seafood Island boodle feasts available for delivery are Dagupan’s Festival, Meaty Madness, Magellan’s Landing, Chang’s China Chow and Sizzling Plate Overload.
