I remember the first time I stepped in at Formosa Taiwan Milk Tea, the place was enveloped with the scent of freshly brewed tea. That was when this refreshment bar was still on their soft opening last 1 November 2018, and the aroma was recognizable during my next few stopovers.

I have been frequent here for the past two months, and sadly the fresh whiff of brewed tea is no longer present whenever I visit. But I am happy that the milk tea has been consistently good, even after having the Filipino staff took over the tea bar. The balance of having to taste the tea with the milk and sugar in the mix is very peachy, something really noteworthy in this world of saccharine-filled beverage and refreshments.

My regular order is a Large Formosa Black Tea, no sugar with Pearls. Price is at P110 for the large milk tea + 20 for the sinker = P130. I have tried the Oolong and Wintermelon milk teas too. Both drinks are good as well.

So which milk tea drink are trying out first at Formosa?
